CADGME 2025

After successful conferences held at Pécs in Hungary (2007), Hagenberg in Austria (2009), Hluboká nad Vltavou in Czech Republic (2010), Novi Sad in Serbia (2012), Halle in Germany (2014), Targu Mures in Romania (2016), Coimbra in Portugal (2018), Jerusalem in Israel (2022), and Catania in Italy (2023) we are delighted to announce that the CADGME conference continues. The team from the Department of Education and Social Work of the University of Luxembourg has volunteered to host the conference in 2025 in the beautiful city of Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg). As for the last CADGME conferences, we want to create a forum for all European colleagues and for all interested academics from around the globe to exchange ideas and nurture collaboration. We hope that you will join us in Esch-sur-Alzette (Belval Campus) on 9 – 11 September 2025.

Initially, the conference featured primarily Computer Algebra and Dynamic Geometry Systems, as they were the main tools in mathematics education, hence the name CADGME (Computer Algebra and Dynamic Geometry in Mathematics Education). However, in recent years, the development of technology has accelerated, and we have started to broaden our focus on all Digital Tools in Mathematics Education. We broadened our horizons and addressed new related topics, initially STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Nowadays, creativity and creation draw more attention in education. Thus, we initiated discussions on STEAM Education, including the Arts in our topics. In Esch-sur-Alzette (Belval Campus), we will have amazing keynote lectures, regular talks and posters. Additional details of the programme will be announced as the conference draws closer.
